PROJECT OUTLINE:
The Ambohibato Public Primary School marks a major turning point in its history with the inauguration of its new modern and spacious infrastructure. Located in the heart of the Rural Commune of Ambatomirahavavy, this school has acquired new buildings and equipment in order to offer quality education to its students.
Since its creation, the school's teaching conditions were often difficult for teachers and students. Thanks to the new classrooms, an environment conducive to learning, thus creating increased opportunities for success, opens up to more than 200 children.
This innovative project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Tory Family Foundation, Sue Melville and Friends of Hassocks Infant School (FOHIS), in partnership with the NGO Madagascar Development Fund (MDF). Together, these actors have already carried out more than ten community projects in Madagascar since 2010 to date.
Thanks to the generosity of the Tory family, the school has a new building with three classrooms, including one for preschool, all equipped with school furniture and educational toys, costing 149,182,530 Ariary. Donations from Sue Melville and Friends of Hassocks Infant School, committed benefactors, were used to buy additional classroom furniture.
